Welcome to Kipling's, Award winning Indian Restaurant's in the UK.
The concept of Kipling's was created 17 years ago by Pervis and Rafiq known to regulars as ‘RAF’, with a passion for authentic Indian cuisine and a desire to present it combined with Western influences. The name was taken from the famous author and poet, Rudyard Kipling, an English gentleman living in India. With the design of the restaurant created by Pervis's wife, Debbie and the food created by Tarik our chef, the result was something quite unique with an unusual ambience It was not a typical "curry house" as the British people had come to know. The result was a relaxed and unique setting with an untypical ambience when we opened our doors in Greengates, Bradford, 17 years ago. Tarik, our chef has remained loyal to us to this day.
Our vision was an instant success as our popularity grew thanks to the recommendations from our loyal clientelle and winning many awards from all over Britain and consistently very favourable reviews in the media.
After repeated requests from customers who had to travel many miles to reach us, we decided to open our second restaurant. We searched for just the right place and found it in the discerning town of Ilkley where we were welcomed amongst the locals for bringing our famous mouthwatering dishes and high standards to their bustling town. Following this success our third restaurant quickly followed in the up and coming town of Sowerby Bridge, Halifax. We recognised the potential here as we had quietly watched the growth in the town and the surrounding areas and saw a niche for us and wanted to be a part of it's success.
We hope you all enjoy your experience at Kipling's and look forward to a long lasting friendship with you. If you have any inquiries please click here to contact us.
