Award Winning Restaurant

The exciting tastes of asian cuisine in a superb interior of our newly refurbished restaurant at Sowerby Bridge, Halifax.

The concept of Kipling’s was created 17 years ago by Rafiq known to regulars as ‘RAF’, with a passion for authentic Indian cuisine and a desire to present it combined with Western influences. The name was taken from the famous author and poet, Rudyard Kipling, an English gentleman living in India. The result was something quite unique with an unusual ambience It was not a typical “curry house” as the British people had come to know. The result was a relaxed and unique setting with an untypical ambience when we opened our doors.

Our vision was an instant success as our popularity grew thanks to the recommendations from our loyal clientelle and winning many awards from all over Britain and consistently very favourable reviews in the media.
